Hot Summer's Night
...The warm, humid air hits me as I climb down the stairs from the plane. My legs feel stiff, my bottom numb from sleeping in an awkward position on the long-haul flight. Rummaging around in my oversized leather hold all, I squint and wish for my oversized sunglasses, but they have sunken deep into the chaos that is the inside of the bag.
‘Bit like my life’, I think, ‘A big, laughable mess. Nothing in place, all messed up, can’t find what I’m looking for and half of the contents are broken.’
